The rust along the bottom I’ll treat, what do you recommend?

quote Nigel Pugh:Sable 60 is no longer available, there will be some new entry models available soon but not just yet……………..mind you not sure I would want to sell to Mr Wilson as he is a pain in the a**e 😉
That’s the last time I bring donuts lol
-
I need it for tomorrow tbh
Seen a CTO630 on ebay via Signzworld, it’s a non optical plotter but i’m guessing it will do the job? It’s just a table top 24" width plotter for £185, if it gets me through a month or so then i’ll not be complaining
-
concrete floors won’t be doing you any favours, i had the same issue a while back, used to mop the floors daily just to stop them being so dry and causing dust
Laminate flooring was installed and made life 100 times easier, luckily i don’t have any machines that make dust
-
Right phoned up Graphtec, seems that the carriage head has a tension spring on top of it, loosened it off and re-tightened and job done… back to normal now 🙂
-
Don’t even have a pen to try it
-
Yeah me too, broken plotter here 🙁 it was dropped from a worktop and now it doesn’t cut properly, test cut gives a different output each time so guessing it’s totally screwed 🙁
-
Yeah i don’t do pepsi 😮
Cider yes…. Neil you are the one that is always offering the gay exotic stuff :lol1:
-
was i ever ok to start with? yeah i’m not bad, just the usual back pain but nothing major
Neil, don’t you start :lol1:

Thank god I’m not the only one then 🙂

quote Neil Speirs:put my home telephone number on a customers van once…3ft wide 😳
You plonker Rodney :lol1: :lol1: :lol1:
-
I tried to clean mine but not with much luck, i’d say put the press as hot as you can then give it a slight scrap with something to remove what’s there
but use a teflon sheet and you’ll be fine
-
I’ve called East Kilbride an industrial estate several times too 😮
-
done this years ago myself, just use a bit of teflon on all your jobs from now on and you’ll be fine 😮
Failing that, fix the teflon on so it doesn’t come off
PS how was the show? Not going this year
-
Oi you lot, you do know i will end up reading this sooner or later…. anyway John when am I getting one? It was my birthday last week remember 😛 haha :lol1:

It can’t be turned upside down, it won’t fit back in then 😕
Maybe the newer strips have the right holes in it 👿
Anyway while it was out i gave it a major clean, stuck it back in and it seems to be printing fine for now so fingers crossed
Cheers folks for the advice and i’ll let you know how i get on
-
Do i need to put it into any mode when taking the strip out? i notice that it’s the full length of the machine so could be a little tricky?
-
£180? 😮 Offft
Think i’ll turn it upside down and see how that works for now :lol1:
-
Ssd is faster boot time, faster access speed
You would use both because you couldn’t afford a ssd drive big enough for your storage too
-
Anyone bought any of these from ebay to see the quality?
I’ve thought about buying one to see the quality so i can show the difference to my customers so they know why i’m over charging them 😛

quote Harry Cleary:quote John Wilson:centuries of bitterness

I’m saying nothing :lol1: :lol1: :lol1: Don’t want to get banned from here, since all the admin are one sided 😉
-
It’s Glasgow, 1995 is nothing compared to the centuries of bitterness haha
-
Happened to Celtic in 1995, they took to the streets with charity buckets but that’s been forgotten about as per usual
-
I tried it with one of my OKI printers, totally fecked it 🙁
They told me that it should work but might not work, my fault for trying it
-
Plymouth Argille? You trying to wind me up?
Once we come out of administration then we will be debt free, the tax bill is just hugely inflated as per usual by the tax man
We’re still able to win the league the last 3 years while in major debt and with no spending then think what we will do next season
-
Go where? It’s only administration
Ok not good but we will still be Glasgow Rangers!
-
-
I’ve attached what he sent me
We only hem the banners with tape, i’m going to suggest to him that he lines the inside of his trailer with ply wood so the wind isn’t hitting it as hard from both sides
Plus he’s got tree cuttings in the trailer so it’s only a matter of time before a branch goes right through it

One of the dance schools we do printing for gave the kids blank paper to design the new tracksuits…. dare to say they are no longer my customer after I laughed in their face when they turned up with the top 3 to be printed :lol1:
-
You told me you wouldn’t show that to anyone, last time I sub my work to you!!! 👿
-
Me n Karen are going in October for a couple of days, staying in a hotel next to the zoo so taxis into the city will be required but were not paying for the room so beggers can’t be fussy!
Not got anything planned for it yet apart from getting drunk most nights as we won’t have to deal with the kids lol
-
Yeah…. go into the city and get the train…. to Glasgow :lol1:

I’d like an inkjet for posters n such as I don’t like the quality on my versacamm.
