I’m thinking it’s time to beef up the security at our workshop and see that you can get these pci cards that once fitted to your works PC allow you to view your premises over the Internet if any motion is detected from the cameras fitted. Anyone got this kind of set-up? Anything to look out for when purchasing the hardware, camera specs etc

My place is up a dark lane in a seaside town centre….god knows what I would see on a fri/sat night 😕

i got a dlink running off network, it has a web-browser built in to view the Internet activity at home, there is a trigger system with software that has to be run on a PC on the network, it will then record to the disk but I dont use this.

The camera is emailing every 5 minutes to a seperate email account, i get 1000s of photos in there and delete them once in a while and they are timedated so i know whats what.

But then again, i suspect it be hoodies who will attack and not many ways to identify them lol
