If it was Arnold Clark it wouldn’t surprise me 🙄 Had very bad experiences with them 🙁

My oil filter is an element too, however I can’t remember if you need to drop the oil before removing it, Mine sits right at the top of the engine so I guess I could remove it without dropping the oil.

wow, thanks all for the positive replies.

Unfortunately that is the Customers logo and couldn’t be changed to much, I would have like the tail more into the S but such is life.

I choose the colours, (the orginal logo is slighty different colour wise) hence my embarrassing Vinyl thread, however the yellow and burgundy I have in stock goes together very well imho.

I was a bit unsure about using reflective but it works, and will no doubt look great at night.

Thanks again and I’ll see you all at signUK 😀

I wouldn’t touch Norton with a barge poll, however that is just my opinion.

I have a small wireless LAN, the wireless router (old BT voyager 2000) has a built in hardware firewall, I use wireless for the laptop and wired connections for both PCs.

The PCs run no firewall other than XP service pack 2 firewall, all PCs including the laptop run AVG, never had an issue at all, in fact I’ve never had a virus ever. I don’t use IE, only Firefox for browsing.

All the PCs don’t suffer any slowdown running AVG.

    Cheers

Peter – Thanks for the reply.

Yeah vinyl was applied to outside of head. The head is 22" and made from Mylar.

The Vinyl has a slight dampening effect, however this is a good thing for the reso head, no need for internal dampening via a small peice of felt.

If you wanna send me the the image files and word docs and i’ll recreate the pages using Dreamweaver and send the HTM files and folders/images files back all ready for you just to upload them!

Why are you using Word anyways, its not web design software, its even worse than Frontpage, at the end of the day, your website is your online persona, why compromise it by using a product not really designed to build a webpage, let alone a full site.

Michael, yeah it was hand drawn using the pen tool, drawn as a line (stroked path) and then the lines converted to outlines. Once converted to outlines shapes all welded together. Compounded paths were then released to give the centre shapes fill colours.
I find using a stroked path gives an even line thickness all the way around when you have a fill colour and an outline colour.

    Hope this helps.

I’ve got about 4 items on ebay and its been 6 weeks(selling like hot cakes) and no one (in the UK) has copied it, yet, it will happen though 🙁

Thing is what I sell on ebay is not what we do as company (although its still accounted for in the books)

I personally think ebay is going downhill, but if your careful its still an okay place to trade. You also gotta remember most people are thick and you have to spells things out to them, most poeple don’t read and if they do its like selective reading 🙄

I am actually doing something like this at the moment, I am sorting the fonts out and this is how I am doing it…

1: I have setup a corel routine to open every corel file and list out the fonts used, this was an overnight run.
2: I had a list of fonts which I have used, I then took the most common fonts and put them together, then took another set for the rest, then another set for odds and so forth. I am using standard Suitcase to activate these.
3: Corel X3 is a must, it finally shows the fonts in their actual font in the chooser like Illustrator has a for a long time.

I use illustrator and flexi, never knew Corel didn’t offer this feature untill x3

with the new blade maybe being 60 degree would you not have to change the offset?

Will be looking into some software that allows temp installation of the font, really really clever idea that.

    Thanks

    Hiya

If you offset the path of the circle you want the text to follow, make it a bit bigger than the original.
Go to the text icon, keep it pressed down and the text toolbar flyout wil appear, the 3rd icon in with the T sitting at a 45 degreee angle will appear (type on a path tool) then click on the larger circle and type.
If it’s sitting at the wrong point on the circle use the paragraph palette to justify it (left, centre or right). If the text isn’t sitting far enough away from the original circle you can use the "set the baseline shift" in the character palette to be higher.

Hope this helps, if it doesn’t make sense if you send me the file and tell me the font i’ll sort it for you.

    Cheers
    Susan (& Garrie)

aye, there is a piece of software for macs that allows you to cut directly from Illustrator, can’t mind the name of it though.

unsure why you would want to use another type of blade unless you can’t get a different degree blade (so for flock, reflective etc) for the PCUT.

    sign along? 1 2 3 4

Its nine oclock on a saturday
    The regular crowd shuffles in
Theres an old man sitting next to me
Makin love to his tonic and gin

He says, son, can you play me a memory?
Im not really sure how it goes
But its sad and its sweet and I knew it complete
When I wore a younger mans clothes

La la la, de de da
La la, de de da da da

Sing us a song, youre the piano man
    Sing us a song tonight
Well, were all in the mood for a melody
And youve got us feelin alright

Now john at the bar is a friend of mine
He gets me my drinks for free
And hes quick with a joke or to light up your smoke
But theres someplace that hed rather be
He says, bill, I believe this is killing me.
As the smile ran away from his face
Well Im sure that I could be a movie star
If I could get out of this place

Oh, la la la, de de da
La la, de de da da da

Now paul is a real estate novelist
Who never had time for a wife
And hes talkin with davy whos still in the navy
And probably will be for life

And the waitress is practicing politics
As the businessmen slowly get stoned
Yes, theyre sharing a drink they call loneliness
But its better than drinkin alone

Sing us a song, youre the piano man
    Sing us a song tonight
Well, were all in the mood for a melody
And youve got us feelin alright

Its a pretty good crowd for a saturday
And the manager gives me a smile
cause he knows that its me theyve been comin to see
To forget about life for a while
And the piano, it sounds like a carnival
And the microphone smells like a beer
And they sit at the bar and put bread in my jar
And say, man, what are you doin here?

Oh, la la la, de de da
La la, de de da da da
