3M Gold here too.

Although the Blue AVERY with the felt is excellent to.

Ones to avoid are the light grey ‘unbranded’ ones – they are far too soft & bits rub off!!

And I personally dislike the REALLY hard Orange Spandex ones.

Always good to have a couple of Grarhityp felts (they are thicker than others) in your toolbox as well as the above.

We use 3M gold with a little velvet stuck to one edge, similar to averys but we cover the corners and ours last longer.

That is my only complaint about the blue Avery, the felt stuff only lasts me about 5 days before it goes all lumpy and breaks off.

I was talking to a sign guy from germany and he sticks lambs wool adhesive patches on one edge of the gold squeegee and he raves about it.

I can’t find any adhesive lambs wool patches here, otherwise I’d do it too 😕
