We had 2" of the stuff and you’d think we had World War 3 the way they went on about it (newspaper splashes)

Brought the transport system to halt (Yeah! 2" but it was a special kinda snow you understand)

I have to agree we are complete wussies down here in the South when it comes to inclement weather

I can only recall scraping ice off my windscreen once this year

The snow lasted a single day and thawed out the next but we just didn’t know how to cope with it :no1:

We had a few inches between Wednesday night and yesterday, its been great, I love the snow, going out and putting the first foot prints in the fresh snow in your garden. Kids have really loved it and they both had the day off on Friday from school/nursery and we made a big snowman … although we had to make him twice because just as we finished him, our 2 year old son thought it would be good to charge at Mr Snowmansantatranta (kids named him) and knocked his head off :lol1:

But, its nearly all gone now, literally nothing left 🙁

We’re supposed to get between 4 and 8 inches tomorrow. There is already about 6" on the ground now.
The state above me, New York, way upstate by Lake Ontario supposedly has 100" of it in places!
Be careful what you wish for!

    3 feet!
That’s only one and half persons
where did the other half go?

The shrinking is due to the present housing crisis
There’s a shortage in housing atm

Was there enough room to keep the beers chilled?

We have had 9" of new snow so far today.
Now it’s turned to sleet and there is a winter weather advisory till 6pm tomorrow.
    No school today.
No time to build an igloo tho. Justis did go sled riding with the neighbor kids.
Quite impressive Jayne! You need to buy some mucklucks!

All our snow is gone again now, so sad, I love the snow. I think we’ll build a whole housing estate next time it snows lol :lol1:
