Thing is, they screen these contestants to find personalities that clash, and look for people who are fiercely competitive, and ones that lack any strong morality (Celebrity BB may be different, but certainly the normal BB has that criteria). One failed contestant here said that in the interview to be on the show, they had to simulate having sex, and be sexually and morally provocative in order to be short listed. Those that didn’t participate were sent home without any further interviews. Surely they were not surprised at the results here then.

I’d suggest she has been manipulated by the shows producers, because they would have known that she would be confrontationalist, all in the name of ratings.

We are talking about a show that have psychologists advising on character types etc. to get the best abrasive mix.

The suggestion has been made that she is actually the victim of a discrimination by the producers, to the point that their manipulation of what was aired on the telly has actually put her in fear of her life, an example of which is that there was no studio audience on the eviction night.

Legal arguments here support the theory that she could sue and she would have a case. Then she’d have the last laugh. The other suggestion has been made that it could lead to a depression and suicide. I hope not for her sake.

… off my soap box now 😕

I don’t watch a lot of TV at all, always seem to have better ways to spend my time but I never watch any of these reality shows even when I do watch TV and I can’t understand why so many people watch them.

Shane from what I have read you are 100% right, they pick people who they know won’t get on to ensure the public keep watching to see what happens next. Even with live TV there is a delay built in so the program producers could have prevented some of this but chose not to for the sake of higher ratings.
