Stainless steel is a very tough product and stand up to almost any solvent but not all acids the best product I have found for cleaning and keeping finger marks under control is marketed by 3m and should be available from welding supply shops its called Stainless Steel Cleaner & Polish if they don’t stock that one they should have a alternative. I have tried the oil methods but find they attract more dirt long term. Hope this helps.

March 15, 2006 at 9:09 am in reply to: why does the tool bar keep dissapearing?

Hi Alan, I have just re started my system and the bars have remained!!!!
I loaded this program onto two laptops when I got it and have just compared the toolbar set up in both machines, the working tool bar on the original set up has 18 tools on it ,on the machine I use constantly and have had the problem with this toolbar now has 4 of the original tools so why/where they went pass!!! I also set up 2 extra toolbars on the main machine and they have gone completely! Very odd!! Lets hope they all stay put from now on.

    Thanks for your help.

What I also find annoying is that they have known about this problem for some time but make no mention of it in the handbook ( which I find a bit thin to say the least ) and when you consider the cost I think they should be a bit more generous with the info. Does anyone know of any books that are available, I have checked the web but no luck yet.
I would have to agree with Peter Normingtons idea of a special forum on this site to cover these programs as there must be lots of info we can share.

Had a reply from Cadlink it would appear to be the problem of floating tool bars they have to be docked or they will go! By “docked” it means hard against the current tool bars not just in the area. Also if you move existing tool bars make sure they are docked or they might go as well.

Still awaiting response from Cad link but on studying the forum it would appear that they have had this problem for some time but do not consider it a priority to solve it. I do find it frustrating that they charge top money for these programs knowing that they have faults!
Having said that I am very impressed with the rest of it and is a very good programe for what we do and a marked improvement on my Coreldraw. I will just have to learn all the hot keys!!!!!

I have a Epson 4000 which I use for photographic work it is very good and the print life one of the best you can get , however that is on photo paper. According to the web site quoted the media suggested is Duragraphix which I cannot trace from the UK . If anyone knows of other suitable media I would like to give it a try.

I accessed it from the top of the front page near to FAQ and board rules but I cant remember what it was called.

Yes I saw him too he was called Likwidart .com, tried his product very good but watch out fir the limited shelf life, only 5/6 weeks and you can do a lot with the 10 tubes that you have to buy so you need to be set up ready with a lot to do.

Not bidding yet, I wait until the last Min’s and sometimes use sniper software (very effective) . From all I have read so far I feel this might be genuine, seems to know her stuff and all she is selling seems to show a complete setup up for sale.

    Will keep watching!!

Yes Paul, I have Coreldraw also but find it a bit limiting when it comes to outlines etc maybe I need more practice.
I am hoping that a dedicated sign cutting program will give more options.
