I was wondering the same, hope he is OK, I emailed him privately via his normal email on two occassions in the last fortnight, and had no reply.
Anyone know his phone number to give him a call?
I keep looking for the latest weather update…. 😮

I saw Brian last week. He paid me for fixing his Roland cutter so he is probably still in shock over parting with money. I know his numbers so will call him tomorrow and let him know your concerns. Shane, can you keep those cyclones away as my wife left Edinburgh this afternoon to spend a month in Townsville.

good to see you posting on the boards ken, 😀
i could be in need of some of your help in the not so distant future 😕 :lol1: :lol1: :lol1: -
I spoke to Brian this morning. He is fine but email / internet access on his PC is knackered but he hopes someone will fix it today and then he will be back. Shane, I am not worried about rain, my wife is used to that, but I hear George W. has offered to help – that worries me.

got to say the same thing occured to me too :lol1:
Watching the news tonight, they have no running water, no power, very little food, and all the roads in and out of town are flooded. However, the army and volunteers are coming from all over OZ, the premier and prime minister have flown in and given the locals millions of dollars in free loans and assistance, we have massive generators being sent from every corner of the country, Qantas are donating 6000 to 8000 meals a day, and the locals want everything fixed today! Men and women yelling into the news cameras and telling the rest of australia to get off our backsides and get them new housing, and fix up their towns. A little disappointing really, that people are getting aggresive, when it takes time to find accommodation for over 6000 homes.
Don’t get me wrong, like everyone else, I’m really saddened by what has happened, and you feel so darn helpless. I have a heap of friends that live in the area, but finding a genie in a bottle is going to be hard.
The next Cyclone is off Townsville about 600 klm. Sitting still but gathering strength. We have another forming off northern Western Australia too, so I suspect it may get worse before it gets better unfortunately.
Thanks for news about Brian, I was just about to ring him.
