You are right. The castors are not height adjustable. They are removable but that is not too helpful.
In saying that I have used one several times all for installs inside and found it very good. -
Homebase have a good set that I have used. It is not quite as high at only 5.8m but it is cheaper at £1017 Inc vat for all three packs

Also Homebase sell an expandable set that is in 3 different sections. It’s really good but not so cheap if you buy all 3. -
Great later measure tools. Good luck with the Sale well worth it.

Your client cannot have a sign like that and expect it to be maintenance free. Everything requires cleaning even signs and plaques.

Ewan,
You should of course calibrate all your screens if possible.
You can also look at pantone swatches in Photoshop then you can match it using a set of actual pantone swatches to give you a good ideas of what shade of blue in this case the customer is looking for.Get them to sign off and away you go.

We have done fabric walls before and just used 2" batton on the wall 48" spacer and full drops from the roll.
Upholstered the fabric over a roll of Dacron and it worked out fine. You could do even width panels and just mount them to the wall as you could use MDF and use full height 2400mm x1200mm, Dacron with fabric on top and tac round the back and mount to the wall.

Hi Myles,
My guess is that it is a hardware/software issue.
You are using ethernet which is recognised by your computer and printer.
But not recognised when trying to use the spectrometer.Have you tried selecting the drop down options to see if any of them work ? Com, Serial or USB.
You could try buying a usb cable and see ifvthe software recognises this when attached ?
You could try virtual software such as
https://www.eltima.com/serial-ethernet-converter/
Although this should be used as a last resort. -

Full wraps laser straight where the vehicle lines are not as noticible.
Lettering etc I would match with the vehicle lines, otherwise it can look funny.I thinkyou are right with your observation if it does not look right laser level match it to the bodywork

Hi Jason,
Welcome back -
You could use nylon/DeLeon/acetal rod but they can be expensive.
You could use automotive paint and spray it.I am sure you will figure it out

Stuart,
I find making ovals by hand easier since I learned the nails and string technique. Just check YouTube for drawing ovals. It’s not perfect but it works for me.
Obviously you could print it and the cut around it.
-
Can the vinyl be applied from the outside ?
Or can you remove the window tint, then you have a ready made template for your vinyl ? -
Some really nice variety there David.
I really like the wallpapers, very nicely implemented. -

MemberOctober 7, 2016 at 5:20 pm in reply to: Floor graphics advice on runway effect please?Hi Myles,
Looks like a certain airport.
If it is I would go with a black or dark grey vinyl flooring over the tiles. A levelling compound would be needed. Or removal of the tiles. This is a high traffic area so would need to be very durable.
Orajet 1633 could go on the vinyl floor.
Sign and digital do this. -
Not local but cheap as chips. Aluminium finish

MemberAugust 22, 2016 at 10:32 am in reply to: Minimise dirt / dust / outgassing issues in printI think Seun is right in saying the carpet is probably one of the biggest causes for contamination. Before you spend big money replacing it try roll and stroll or one of the other floor covers.
It’s like an anti slip cover usually used during building to protect the flooring or carpet but you could use it to protect your prints from your carpet, and if it works out you could look into replacing it.

Chris,
The problem to me looks the same in both pictures, it just looks a lot less pronounced in your first picture.
I know you said it is not but it could be somethig tiny on the print head. -
My local German supermarket specifies that these are used, they used to use magnets but stopped for some reason

Things like this are very disappointing for real business’s.Name changes, director consultants all this only leads to the little man losing out. I bet some suppliers got shafted for this.
Very disappointing :bangshead:

You always have your phone on you and most have a good camera on them. Somthing like this but a dedicated app would be great

Long term this is goòd but will mark walls when removedhttp://tec7.ie/product/x-tack7-adhesive/
Although for frames and wall signs these are really good and can be removed without marking

You could ask your drop shipper what they would charge using different vinyl.
Personally, I would rather print it myself as I am able to quality control it and I maximise profit.

MemberJune 30, 2016 at 6:39 am in reply to: Printing direct onto bass drum skins / headsHi Billy,
If your cutting and printing vinyl already you can do this yourself.
You just need the bass drum size 22" 24" etc and the location and size of the bass port if it has one.Go to your local music shop and buy one or two of their most popular skins and you can practice on them.
