Hi all, i have been asked to supply a large drywipe board for a village hall. I did one a few years back and the customer supplied me with the board which was a high gloss 3mm panel. When i contacted him recently to ask what it was he told me it was a hygiene board (used in industrial food industry) He gave me the number of the company he had bought it from. I rang and ordered the panel, on it arriving i removed the protective film and spot tested a small area near the edge (its having a 5cm boarder around it) unfortunately it did not wipe off very satisfactorly and i know its not going to be suitable. So apart from being stuck with the board which cant be returned, can anyone suggest a suitable media to use.

I have already price the job so dont want to be forking out big money or even attempting to cover panel with dry wipe laminate.

    Hi Jean,

Has the board got a frame on it or is completely flat? If its flat our dry wipe is 1300mm so if you can get the board to us in Wrexham (I know your based in Oswestry) then we’d happily stick a dry wipe on it for you. Give me a call on 01978 664726 if its any help to you!

    Hi Jean,
We have used this material before.

In NZ we use anti graffiti film but I dont know the brand. It wipes off cleanly.

Hi Jean, we produced and installed this for a customer recently – 8’x4′ boards mounted in portrait , direct print to 3mm Di-bond and laminated with Dry-wipe. If you need any assistance feel free to get in touch

Thank you all who replied, it looks like i am just going to have to cover the panel with metamark dry wipe laminate. I really dont like the stuff its like trying to cover a panel in cling film :bangshead:

    wish me luck
