Hi 🙂 could be not enough heat on that side of the roll check if the heat area is working properly also could be static or if that roll was standing straight on humid cold floor on that side I had same problem it’s pretty much your material no hot enough I think someone else might have other notes you got photos?

This is my new dog Spider after i lost my Buz three month ago. Spider is 7 weeks old Pitbull. he is very cute and soon will be taking him to pup school just to trained him well and to be a good dog around kids etc.

the thing is i tried with the stanley knife and the edge went like powdery it needs to be clean cut cos they will be like used to mount the posters A1 A2 and A0 sizes 🙁

Thank you for that but it doesn’t say much about how to handle it the board is kinda strong but cutting it is nasty. i can get it as one sheet the cost is about $130 aus for black color.

The thing is my client gave me a sample and he said that foam core but to me looks like gatorfoam. i did some search on google. though if anyone worked with them before that might be helpful

Hi Shane As well sometimes in the cut only unit 4 i have in mine depends how your profile is saved makes sure there is no check mark on the trim marks. cos the printer does is think that after auto align there is trim marks so it cuts inside them . there is something there that ur missing. if you need me to call you and go over it with you let me know 😉

ok Stuart i don’t use sign lab but is there an option to expand the image in signlab like on the top menu cos if its a vector if u save it as eps or ai or wmf it should stay as a vector format. it could be only grouped or something . Have a look in the top menu bar if u have an option for (OBJECT) expand or UNGROUP or OUTLINE maybe . Let me know how u go

I agree that the days that we came 2 are nothing like 20 years ago that’s from when i remember.
But what i know for sure that my little one gets most of the things he wants really easy . I don’t think its right to do that . But he is my only son and he can see how hard I work and how much money things cost. he says Thank you a lot. and that’s very important to me is to provide to him what i never had . Well if your not happy and its under warranty just return it and get a Roland runs so smooth easy to use . without any signage background iv done so well so far on my own. Iv been using this print cut machine for over a year its very good only once the vinyl got stuck i took photo of it to remind me of my first jammed vinyl cos it was my fault. Other then that its good and very affordable. and with the new rip version it wakes up on its own does cleaning then go back to bed 🙂 I refused to sell my business just so i don’t give away my Roland. lol

hi there, there is a way but it doesn’t work all the time. it worked few times with me. you can give it a try
i use acrobat 7 you open the file save as postscript. under setting have a look there is an option to convert all font to outline. then you save the file onto desktop open it with distiller and save a new pdf drag and drop into illustrator and good luck it worked 2 times out of 5 see how you go. 🙂

These 2 shops were done in 2 week no bullshit they had a deadline they came together and i had a little help from hubby of course to put the signs up. 😉 very much fun enjoyed it and love to spend the rest of my life doing it. I have learnt a lot since i got into signage. And always ahead never backwards.

Everyday is a new day new job new way to do it good way to learn there is this big job coming very soon that i will need the boards help if i was around. VERY BIG JOB.

Hi Adam,

Well I use Quark Xpress and its very good software for layout placing images with these format (.tiff) (.eps) and (jpeg). As well it can go up to 100 pages or more. and after your catalogue is done you can save a pdf from it for Web viewers or collect for output for your printer is you want to print it collect to output means it will collect all your font used in the file along with the images and create a folder for you for the project ur doing. If you need help with Quark or Indesign that as well very similar just let me know.
