Hi Nik,
Thank you for that but it doesn’t say much about how to handle it the board is kinda strong but cutting it is nasty. i can get it as one sheet the cost is about $130 aus for black color. The thing is my client gave me a sample and he said that foam core but to me looks like gatorfoam. i did some search on google. though if anyone worked with them before that might be helpful
cheers

Hi Nancy,
Have never used Gatorfoam yet, but it is a product of Alcan Composites (formerly Allusuise) and this means most of times that it is a top quality product. I know it is used very much in the US.
You can find more about it at This link.
They say medium term outdoor.
Cutting is not recommended, you will need a saw or router.Hope this helps you a bit.

quote wannousnancy:Thank you JJ. Looks good Thank you Nik also.
NancyHi Nancy.
Gatorfoam is hard stuff to cut smooth Nancy. You need a neolt trimmer to do a perfect job. I have a keencut which is good too, but it still talkes a few cut or else it crumbles on the edge.
The stuff JJ is talking about is the sample fourex I sent you earlier in the year.
You may be better buying some 2mm ePVC? Cuts with a stanley, and is light weight.?
Sorry can’t be any better help.

Gatorfoam is hard to come by in the UK I have tried to get it in the past. Kappa Board do a Kappa plast which is nearly the same it has a plastic face like gator rather than the paper/card face. I think Cox plastics still do it.
