thansk Chris for the reply my supplier in ireland has the xlam laminator looks exact same as the mounters mate , I would have bought a mounters mate but shipping to ireland isnt the easiset thing in the world with brexit

Thanks Kevin and Stephen , I’m going to get a demo of it but it can cut aluminum , they do a cheaper version that can’t cut solid aluminium, it’s a local supplier in Ireland and it comes with a pc and software , I’ll post the website when I find it the guy is really helpful so far

if your stuck could you not use vinyl cut at 25mm circles and heat the over the caps or paint them with 2k paint mixed to the correct colour

I see what you mean about a 610 cutter too , My first plotter was a summa d120 and your right i thought id never use a 4ft roll of vinyl but i always have a few in stock as i use them quiet abit back to the drawing board then -
Yes martin i was going to build a purpose built room for it as i have the space and have it air tight with extraction so that wouldnt be a worry , Im looking a system that is built by a company in the republic of ireland it looks impressive so far

Yes I had this problem a few times due a custom colour they used , I then seen it printed in a local paper and the colour was really out so I explained this to them and since then I’ve been doing more work with them and have been able to match it with a few Teeks .

me too as most of my work is flat panelling 4ftx4ft ot 8ftx4ft skybond 3-6 month usage signs and think that a flat bed would save me alot of time compared to the old plotter and versacamm

aluminum and curver over marine ply cut by a jigsaw, was a nightmare as the building is orr the square both ways in and out and squed so went for an eye line approach
