Dibond sign glued to concrete, what glue to use?
Posted by Pane Talev on March 8, 2017 at 10:54 amHello forum members.
This is a first time for me where I need to glue dibond sign to super flat concrete. (I’m not allowed to drill)
What glue shall I use please?
Will the glue scratch off in few years if sign is taken down?
Thanks in advance for your input.

Siroflex.
Roughen the back of the ACM and CLEAN the concrete.$this->BBvideo_pass(‘$8’, ‘$4’, ‘$7’)
apply the adhesive in vertical lines so the water that gets behind it can drain away.

Thanks Simon!
Will this scratch off / polish in few years if sign is taken down?

So, in reality I guess they are better off with 4 screw holes. :smiles:

3M do a VHB tape along with a concrete cleaner/activator
We did the whole of a well known football stadium
A few years ago – fantastic stuff -
Thanks Ian,
Will explore this option. Much keener to use this option where I can remove the VHB tabe in few years if needed.
Cheers!

We’ve used a product called ct1 I think, most plumbers merchants sell it.
Sealant/ glue.
I think not matter what u use you’ll have to support it while it sets or it might slide down

Also used ct1 and used a white putty type one made from tech7 which glued 2mm aluminium panel and has stayed in place for 3years already and has been regularly power washed
