Either way is correct. Open your job in Onyx Job Editor and go to the 3rd tab along Tiling set up. Click enable tiling, this will allow you to set your panel sizes and overlap. If you choose 60mm overlap you will get 30mm bleed.

Hi
Take the laminate and hold it against the take up roll. This is when you remove the laminate from the backing liner and tape the liner to the take up. Apply a bit of tension to the laminate roll and take 10" of laminate down onto the feed table
(adhesive facing you) gently push the laminate towards the rollers. Use a feeder sheet of 5mm foamex, place this onto the adhesive and push between the rollers until it becomes tight on the laminate. Drop the rollers and your ready to go.Kev

MemberNovember 3, 2014 at 8:30 pm in reply to: Deaths & near Death accidents, poor Signage installationWell done Denise it does take a shove in the right direction to get the right result sometimes. However more often than not the client just wants the new sign up disregarding any repairs that may need doing. The amount of times I’ve been told to ‘ah just go over the top of the old one’ without any thought whatsoever to the consequences that may just well happen. I advised a client very recently that he had to start over / go back to the building as he wanted me to cover up from what I could see during the site survey at least 5 layers of various elements of signage. I refused to continue until it had been done. It cost him loads to put it right but it now means that I can fix to a solid surface safely!!!

Simple crop marks to align the print and board will suffice or if you have one a light box table top is very handy.Kev

I’ve made a running board where you can run panels with channel to reverse through a laminator. You just have to run battens down the length of your board to raise the channels off giving you equal pressure across the panel. Works a treat!

Hi John
I have found it helps to leave a border of vinyl on the edge of the digital prints you are taping up. Only needs to be 20mm but it helps if you have the same gauge thickness on the edges as well as the weeded centre.
