Something to think about if using the 24″ open top frame.
I have used both the closed frame and the open top and wandered at the time why the open top one cost more. When delivered it is exactly tghe same as the closed sign but with the top cut off, Whats more is was cut in the wrong place so the board wobbled. In future I would always buy the closed top at the cheaper price ant saw the top of myself in the right place.

ok stuart thanks ill keep that in mind

    Thankyou

The only thing im concerned about is why now ?

I have to agree Brian, why does it take 46 years to bring a rape claim to light.

all of this since the Saville saga seems a bit strange to me. Without a doubt they shouldn’t have done what they did if guilty, but why so long to bring to light. Are they out to make a buck or two 😕

thats the only thing i can think of martin . other than say saville had a letter or something that was to be handed to police on his death nameing and shaming. i mean that woman will be in her 70s now id imagine why so long . Just hope the lot of them arnt clients of max!!! can you imagine that ."eh im to busy trying to clear my own name sorry ill get back to you please leave a message after the tone "

    Hi Brian,

No problem , Sarah is great in sales , fantastic enthusiasm and a great relationship builder , I even had a request from a customer to allow Sarah to still be allowed to chase them for money , can’t say that about many credit controllers LOL

Isabel is indeed the boss in the Glasgow office , she is the Branch Operations Manager.

Isabel’s boss is the Customer Service Director who is based primarily in Northampton.

We do now have to make sure payments are clear before processing so it won’t happen again.

Always glad to resolve things and will always do my best to help.

    Cheers

well i have to say on the small number of times i have spoke to you cameron over the years yes you have been helpful . as the majority of your staff have been. but still struggling with this that you say its been due for eighteen months but i have not received one single piece of paperwork( which you will agree) to back up your claim . ive not been told what items i received so cant put it to a job. But perhaps this is something we can discuss rather than me putting out my "dirty washing " 🙂

Brian .. Isabel now has the details and happy to advise which 3 items weren’t paid for , it was 18 months ago. Sarah took the call this time and remembered , others perhaps wouldn’t have, happy to trade when paid.

that is amazing cameron…really amazing you should possible think of moving Sarah in to accounts 😀 out of all the people you deal with this lady can remmember whos due you money from 18 months ago and shes in sales !!!

Yesterday i asked isabel if i could speak to the boss she informed me she was the boss perhaps you could have a word with her on that .

ps robert thankyou for giving me the chance to speak…and Thankyou cameron for replying

Thats great cameron and id be happy to pay it if i knew what it was i allegedly got, how its taken you 18 months to get back to me since youve delt with me since, im just a bit mistified. As i say perhaps you could explain why, if for any reason i received goods if they had not been paid for

Not being funny mate, so please don’t take this wrong but…
If I had a customer that owed me money and they came in looking for a new sign, i wouldn’t lift a finger till the paid me what was due for the last sign i made. I think most of us would do same.

don’t get me wrong, some account practices of trade suppliers does bug me, theirs included. but i imagine its come about due to ongoing business experiences. a bit like rules on UKSB, many hate them, others don’t mind, but truth is, they have only come about due to things happening continually over the years of being online.

yip i agree with that rob i wouldnt either but according to them this is years ago …im not due them any money thats for certain as ive said i pay before i get anything from them i always have .A certain lady there the other day said she would email me .its never happened .if i was due them mony i wouldnt have been able to purchase anything from them since and i have just to add to that i dont even know what im due them for!! …so professional

    quote Alan Drury:

I use http://www.onlineqrlab.com/ up the size to 500 and paste straight into Corel – trace it and you are away. Its worth using a url reducer like bitly.com and making a code from that as that can be simpler to cut and weed. A QR code can be sent anywhere and doesn’t even have to a website it can be just text. Some QR readers on phones can be a bit fussy so test codes first before committing to a long run, I know some Win8 phones had apps that didn’t read all codes but I’ve not had a problem from the site above.
If you have a web hosting package that uses CPanel look at the softaculys folder and there is a free online QR code generator and you can add it to your website.

    quote Martin:

Sorry Brian but I think you are being a bit unfair, most couriers if not all deliver up to about 6 or 7 in the evening as standard & if that isn’t to your liking then you can always upgrade to a pre noon or earlier service but that obviously costs you more money.
Someone has to be at the wrong end of the delivery run, just a shame for you that you don’t live at the start of the run.
Some companies offer more than one courier company when you buy so might be worth asking for a different courier to see if the stuff arrives any earlier or if that’s not an option ask how much more a priority service is.

well in that case martin perhaps they should add "evening" to there service as i feel if its that late it might as well be next day . on there site they have an option of carriers they use i paid £7.00 odds which was not the cheapest for next day . ive had experience before of paying for" before noon" .in most cases it works.. but only just .When it is wat late ive been offered the cost of the delivery back which is ok but doesnt really cover you for a let down customer such is life

well to be honest ive never had any probs with this vinyl company before. its always been delivered at a reasonable time .but ive just notice this last couple of times ive received a tex to say your parcel would arrive between 5 & 6 as you rightly say guys i dont really class that as next day .A couple of years ago (mabe a bit more) i was asked to help a friend out who subbed to a well know courier company . He had his own van but due to illness asked if i could do it for a week providing it was ok with main courier. i have to say its a nightmare !! i was turning up with stuff on a pallet that the company didnt own a forklift to take stuff off . so i do have a bit of sympathy for the guys at the spearhead the logistics can be a disaster . Having said that i still want MY stuff at a reasonable time next day !!!! 🙂

Although I am not a user of anything apple I can see how he will be missed. There seem to be far to many well known people that die at what seems like an early age. At 53 it kind of makes me glad that I’m a nobody.

perhaps the pressure to stay at the top of your league was a contributory factor
