Hi is there anyway that the square box round a bit map can be made to look clear/invisible so that if you have for instance a profile of a vehicle on the screen and you want to place an image on the vehicle for proof purposes . I thought if i selected it with the magic wand and perhaps went to clear in the pallette that it would work but no joy >I know it can be done in photoshop but it was just to save pushing files into other programmes

    Regards Brian

can be done in most programmes – for proofs etc a quick trace/create an outline then you can mask in flexi or powerclip in corel etc to achieve what you want

magic wand click on background area dotted lines appear round object and edge (adjust tolerance if necessary)
from the bitmap dropdown select invert selection
then again from the bitmap option convert marquee to shape
select both objects then from the arrange dropdown select mask
    hey presto
