The man was a legend. Wonder what will happen to Apple in long term?

RIP Steve Jobs. Even if you dislike Apple and their products, he made Pixar what they are and everyone loves Toy Story

A true visionary. Very sad, but not unexpected. I think he leaves Apple in safer hands than last time. It will be interesting to see where their products develop in 5 years time, when the stuff they have in the labs now are out.

it is a sad loss indeed, until recently I was unaware of just how much he influenced the things around me.

I don’t think the company will struggle, while Steve Jobs was an extremely talented guy, He was not alone. As an example, I am the owner of several ’empeg car’ in car mp3 players, basically a 1999-2001 British made mini pc running laptop hard drives with a linux based OS, the player was waaaay ahead of it’s time in truth, ultimately the company was bought and sold a few times as the technology was stripped, used elsewhere in mobile hdd and SS mp3 players etc, and then finally closed for good. Two or three of the original team -extremely clever people- now work for apple and have done since the 2000’s… just as iPod became so ubiquitous 😉

I have no doubts that hundreds of other extremely talented individuals have been gobbled up by apple too, the future’s safe – as far as innovation and design- I feel.

As already said, whether you love or hate Apple products, this man was a massive influence most things we use on a daily basis. RIP Steve.

A sad loss indeed, although not unexpected.

Never really used Macs but adore my iphone.

I don’t know of another slicker and more attractive brand than apple, on the planet at this current moment in time.

My apple mad son always got me to sit in on the free instore seminars when in the Regent Street Apple store.

    RIP Steve Jobs

Although I am not a user of anything apple I can see how he will be missed. There seem to be far to many well known people that die at what seems like an early age. At 53 it kind of makes me glad that I’m a nobody.

Dave Smith posted this on Facebook, not his own design, but i agree with him, a great twist on the original…

Jobs has revolutionized the Audio Visual industry. I cannot imagine how this industry would have been without Steve Jobs. If he wanted to be among top 5 richest man on earth he could have easily been. Steve Jobs annual salary is $1.

    R.I.P. Steve

perhaps the pressure to stay at the top of your league was a contributory factor
