    hi folks ive got a sparky mate who is currently doing up a comand bunker you know the type the would use in the event of a nuclear attack he needs sheets of perspex one sheet that is 12mm thick the other 8mm thick both are 2060 square. its seen from both sides with a map of great Britain in the centre im sure you’ve seen what i mean

    Try stock line plastics in glasgow, that the type of stuff they do, Maryhill, closed on sat and sun 0141 332 3035

    Stockline Dundee a bit closer…

    you also might struggle getting 2060 square as most stock sheets are 3000x2000mm

    If flexible on thickness, Righton will do unbranded materials MUCH cheaper…still, you might have to drop the dimensions.

    are you sure perspex is the correct spec? i would have thought they would have wanted polycarbonate, doesnt break, and fire rated… but more expensive

    Also scratches REALLY badly unless you buy Lexan Margard or similar.

    Acrylic is a lot more forgiving when you wipe it clean….and breaking 12mm acrylic takes a hell of a lot of effort when it’s a display piece.

    Right about the fire rating though…

    sheet sizes are actually 3050 x 2030 so you will get close
