Don’t use the jig to line it up with. do that by eye with the blank on top, use a liitle bit of pressure first to juust lay the acetate onto the blank, then once on right run through again with more pressure.

    trim up all done.

i found the jig itself pulled the plates through skewif if u havn’t got the pressures bang on, so i just eye it up and use light pressure for the first run. if it goes a tad off u can normaly then pull it off and try again, once u get the nack it’s easy.

Hi Guys sorry for the late reply my Internet is down at home:(

They did know that i was selling my old machine and i was told that i wouldn’t have any problems, also i was assured that all the companies were selling the same deal……

So how is the same deal with different software?

Ok it is the latest version which does print great ect. but my bread and butter work i now have to go through hoops to do. which in my view is not realy on

I knew i couldn’t use my old program. and i would have to manipulate my old designs to cut them , that isn’t the issue.

It’s all my new stuff i just can’t do as easy as i feel i should with a 10k machine.

i know i got a good deal with teh consumables but i’m definatly let down with the software which i feel i was led to believe would let me do my day to day stuff as well. The engineer who instaled it even said i can’t just CUT from the machine ffs. he said i would have to turn everything to white. pretend to print it then cut it??

I had to sort that out myself with a call to a local competetor !!

and not returning my calls? ok the salesman has just got back from holiday on monday, ok so he has heavy load on, but a call takes 5 mins , i feel let down and it’s now as if they have their money i don’t matter 🙁

    As Rod says.

Felling a little let down with the software. Means i have to learn Corel which i hate with a passion. just to do my basic cutting with.

Machine is great though just the software isn’t what i expected tbh

I now use a steam wall paper striper as well. just be carefull on plastic panels.

On a smart car i used it on teh paint went a tad funny on the door panel on one side, may not have been the steam but it may have been, not sure the only thing i can think of is it’s a platic car.

apart from that it’s a very quick and clean way of striping vinyl.

    k 6

is one of the colours, simple logo realy easy to recreate in cut vinyl but again teh designer has used pantone colours that have no close macth 🙁

just waiting to see hwta they come back with now, i called the DVLA and they said it’s a grey area but the law doesn’t recognise the words showplates/fancy plates, and as soon as u put a registration on a plate it’s a number plate ect, but i argued that if the person signs a disclaimer that they are show plates not for road use ect, how can that be against the law to sell them ?

    confusing.

    Hi Shane

I filled up the van the other day with Esso Diesel. it was 89.9p per litre ( Aylesbury)

And the car was cheeper with unleaded petrol at 85.9 in buckingham
    20 miles form aylesbury r

i thought Diesel was Supposed to be CHEAPER? the government promoted Diesel as a cheap fuel, as soon as there are a lot of diesel vehicles on the road, hey presto it costs more.

So is the same going to happen to LPG?
cheap as chips now but in the future?

My Camm 1 did this a lot but not all the time, i found my marks where slightly out and the rollers were clogged up in some places making it slightly slip.

what i did was thoroughly clean the rollers ect. then i put down on each end 2 strips of tape, spent an age getting getting the material to run true, then mark with a fine pen on both ends where the material was on a true run.

Problem solved, i can now quite quickly load up and get accurate runs of about 3m without any slew.

Dunno if that will help you, but worth a try?
