Just converted a Banner design that a Customer sent me in Word. Dont you just love it, insisting it has to be exactly the same? Still cringing now!

Also, watching the last play-off final and mooching about on here!

Can you post a pic of the finished racks? Would be nice to see!

It’s Memorial Day here but it has rained off & on all damn weekend.
I forced myself to make potato salad
(love to eat it but hate to prepare it)
and we’re gonna grill some burgers outside come hell or high water.
I also cut vinyl for a tow truck job tomorrow & folded laundry.
Stevo completed and submitted his design for the Greek Letterhead meet banner.
We went out but missed the beer distributor closing up by 1 minute.
    Have a relaxing evening!

I’m at work. I just finished printing 2,000 stickers for our retail department. They are going to be selling little lego models of the American flag and they needed the 50 stars printed because it was too hard to replicate those out of Lego’s. It’s only 8am here though (California) so I have a few more hours to go. I think I am going to turn on the cnc router in a few minutes and make some noise. It helps when I just want to get stuff done on the computer, no one wants to hang out with that thing running.

Swap you for a weekend full of joy in here, there’s more design work to do than anything else, but the work that is in is all painted stuff so the plotter is sat dormant for once 🙄 I must love it all really or I wouldn’t keep doing it :lol1:

    Cheers, Dewi

Love to get my brushes out and give you a hand , plotter production is ok but you can’t beat a bit of traditional brush work from time to time.

We’ve a load of painting in at the moment, I’m still something of a beginner, but its coming together a little bit more now. 😀 I’m learning alot more since Caroline came onboard as thats her main area, the painting side, so she’s gradually converting me to doing more and more with a brush. (Plus I get to sneak off and do plotter work whilst things are being painted so I get the best of both worlds :lol1: )

    Cheers, Dewi

Well at least this weekend is not as rainy.
We have to go to a graduation party for my niece Colleen.
Stevo will get to meet the rest of my family!
    (all 45 of em)
We are starting to get busy with plans for our Letterhead meet this August.
We just bought our plane tix for Mazeppa, which starts a month from tomorrow.
Work has been steady, but I am also waiting for some checks in the mail.
I hope it stops raining over there!

We have been out in the garden again this weekend, clearing up getting it all tidy before we move out …. Ive been painting never ending fences … I’m sure they multiply as I go along :lol1: Worked till tea time then we had a family yoghurt fight :lol1: We were all covered …. It was Steve who started it when he thought Ethans pot was empty and flicked it towards me ….. yep I got a face full of yoghurt …. it went on from there, I had to retaliate …. was quite surprising actually at the end … we were covered but there was literally no yoghurt on the walls, floor, ceiling or anything?

I know, I know …… what a bad example to set for our kids ….. oh well you only live once you have to have some fun, plus its only a bit of yoghurt, no harm!!

😀 Carrie ….. on a Saturday night babble!!

My son and I went to Hayes in London to pickup our new car, a 1972 Triumph Spitfire thats in need of a little restoration. bit like myself after 280 mile round trip.

Car needs a little restoration, hah, I don’t think so, needs a lot of restoration, wishful thinking 😀 well it’ll keep me out of mischief and out from under my missus feet 😉

Exciting day though and I can’t wait to get to work on her (the car I mean!!!), will post some pics later as i’m off to the land of nod. I have to get up early to finish a truck I started on friday but couldn’t finish due to wet paint. 😕

    Cheers Neil :plane:

I’m building a retaining wall in our back garden. It’s amazing how therapeutic something like this is – I can’t wait to get out again tomorrow to do some more work on the wall.

Neil – I love the Triumph Spitfires. I owned one of these about fifteen years ago – it needed restoration even then but was a joy to own. Good luck with your restoration 😀

Thanks Rightsigns (sorry I don’t know your name).

I know who to ask for help then when I get stuck 😀

Aaaaahhhh, guess what I’m stuck. No, I’m just having a problem getting the last bolt out to take the hardtop off.

It’s proving to be a hardtop to get off!!!
