    I was speaking to Edward Mathias today, and he was pumping the Summa D60 at me, he quoted 1400 +vat with £100 worth of blades thrown in as well, good price as Summa Direct atm is doing the same machine for £1499 + the dreaded vat without any frills.

    What are these machines like as i’m nearly in the position to buy my first plotter but i have also been looking at the Roland camm1 CX24 and the Graphtec CE3000-60 24″

    which one would u guys go for and why??( sorry for hijacking your post here Marty )

    also i would also be in position if anyone has a good second hand 24″ plotter going , but i know these are few and far between ……. 😉

    just make sure yu have a good firewall set up, as when u have a 24/7 connection the little devils try all the time to get into your PC (:)

    when i left school i completed a 4 yr apprentiship as a toolmaker/cnc machinist, then i went onto 14 yrs working for London underground ( 10 of them on the Pway fixing and patroling the Tracks ) 3 yrs in a train crew office looking after 300 odd traindrivers, and thats where i’m leaving it learning “The Trade”
