MemberNovember 3, 2020 at 1:04 am in reply to: A4 and A5 leaflet printing. What type of machine and supplier of equipment?Thank you for the helpful replies guys!
Typically, what sort of price would it cost me for one of these machines?
I do understand that things like a guillotine and other things would be required. But machine wise, a bog-standard decent machine, what should I be looking at paying?
Also, what sort of cost “to me” would I be looking at to print x1000 A5 leaflets full colour, single sided?
Thank you in advance for any further help. โค

Annoying how the font for the directions is the same as the font in the logo! ๐๐คจ

What is a “click payment deal?”
What type of suppliers sell these machines?
I can see that there are lots of online suppliers doing it very cheap. I am just thinking about trying to keep the customer from sourcing locally and I lose business to them for the sake of leaflets. If i can source online and time is on my side, then I may buy in for bulk.

The reason I ask is I bet I could sell my customer packs of tiles that they assemble into their logo on the floor like a jigsaw but then walk, dance, workout on them. lots of possibilities!

It is a nice design and looks well fitted. other than the fail rob points out!
I don’t see why you need to do this.

some have me thinking sitting tight may be the way to go. Others having me thinking, “oh yeh, having one of those would be great!
I do not know if I would get into something totally new, like embroidery. as I just don’t have the customer base nor someone dedicated to selling it. which I think no matter what “completely new” area you get into, would require if the outlay was significant.
I would love a mounting table, but costly, a lot of space required, but would really help production-wise. I would love a flatbed printer too!
Thankfully, grants are not what would be paying this. I’ve been setting aside money for a rainy day.

I do not wrap but if this is what is being put out, maybe I should offer it because I can do much better than this!

You can buy rubber rollers online or in some DIY places.
You can get them for sealing wallpaper from B&Q but they are not the best quality and you need to lean firm. which can affect the cheap ones pretty fast. been there done it.
Don’t buy the foam rollers, they are pointless. -
Thank you John.
I have been reading these forums a fair bit since lock down and notice some posts complaining about Metamark. But in other posts, many are using it. am I missing something, like is it just one type of metamark I should avoid?
I am leaning towards Oracal because I do not see any posts anywhere complaining about it. decisions!
