If you find weeding that a pain don’t do a menu board 😀
Are your pinch rollers gripping the vinyl ok, it looks like the vinyl has been moving while cutting. -
Nice number plate by the way 😀

Try Beanie, if it’s not, it’s very close.

MemberJanuary 7, 2008 at 5:19 pm in reply to: cant seem to apply vinyl dry, why is this?If your finding it 10 times easier wet stick to that way. The only downside of a wet application is if your doing it in layers, it will take a little longer waiting for the drying and peeling of the application tape.
Most people on this site recommend "Rapid Tac" but i can’t comment on it, never used it. Use it rather than your water mixture, quicker drying and better stick? i think. 😀Hope this helps.

MemberDecember 10, 2007 at 8:33 pm in reply to: New For sale sign – Advice requested ?How much was he paying for the screen printed ones?
I’d go in at about £30 per board, i’ve done a few of these suppiled with the wooden stake for £40 for one offs.
If he wants 10 a week i’d go slightly lower £20-25 per board. -
Let us know what text you want Warren, i’ll sort it for ya.
-
Signgo is another good cheap one, very easy to use also.

Any good Andy?

MemberNovember 23, 2007 at 5:10 pm in reply to: Technique please for applying vinyl to glass 2600×1100I wouldn’t spray the window, just make sure the window has been cleaned well.
Spray the VINYL not the window, the vinyl becomes very static and if you catch it on anything you will ruin the vinyl, don’t over spray, just a fine mist always works well and then just squeegee out with a felt sqeegee.
Job done. 😀 -
It’s only a cheap font, but i know i should have gave him the wording instead. Sorry 🙂

Who gives a toss what cutter i’m using. It works for me, and i did’nt say that i used Flexi, i actually use Signgo and Artcut.
I used to work for a firm that used Flexi, thats all i worked on. When i set up on my own i bought the cheapest set-up and it’s worked for me ever since. 🙁 🙁 🙁 -

MemberAugust 4, 2007 at 3:30 pm in reply to: why is my P630 plotter not cutting correctly? When you say it pauses, how long have you left it? Mine when cutting a big job with lots of cuts to be done also pauses but after a while when it catches up then it restarts, sometime it can be as long as 5 mins.
Also check the baud rate, if not do as Lynn says and clear prefrences. -
Here you go. 😀

The lowest price is £14.99 for the year, that gives you the file swapping, but there are different levels of membership, just click on the membership link on the home page that will show them all, if your just starting out in the business you’ll find it priceless. Video demos, tips and tricks, file swapping, the lot. 😀
Glen

Hello Kevin, if you up-grade your membership on this site you can ask for it here, in the file swapping section of the forums. The best place if your looking for something you don’t have, the file swapping forum is worth the membership alone, it’s helped me out alot.
