Sorted it, it was the head being loose, i took top of cutter off, released 4 screws and then tightened them back up, this took the looseness from the head.
    Thanks

    Hi
I think i have found the problem, but need to know how to fix it.
The whole cutting head wobbles from the bottom, like the the rollers holding it to the track arnt tight, is there a way to tighten the wheels/rollers ??
No wonder the letters it cuts are not perfect…

I can upload a vid if no one knows what i mean.

    Thanks

One thing i forgot to mention is that it doesnt finish each letter off perfectly, it leaves a little tag of vinyl so weeding is a nightmare….

    Thanks again

    Hi
I run cutter at 30 speed, 17 pressure, quality 3 and condition 1….
I changed the quality to 4, made a few circles which only had 4 nodes per circle, they were 100mm sq and it still vibrated and went really really slow like in video……
Its really getting to me now, i paid £2000 for the cutter last week, it worked fine and now this, its just taking for ever to cut large intricate files aaagggghhh!!!!

Is there anyone local to me that may help or have a look 8)
    Im inbetween Worksop and Doncaster….

On this vid i cut text in X3 and have tried it on my new laptop too but it runs the same??

    Hi Chris
Maybe there’s a way to disable the sensor ? If there is i could run the rollers closer and set the start point myself ??? Tell me if I’m babbling…

If i use a wider material i will have lets say a 50m roll at 700mm and another at 500mm which will be useless to me….

Thankyou very much to you both, i have it reading 601mm cutting width after media check now, was starting to worry as most of the files i produce are upto 595mm.

    Thankyou Again.

you can buy these machines for making plates, they use proper fonts and sizes, they have reflective back grounds too.
Plus have a gb badge at the front…
What could be illegal about that 😀

When fitting dry should i lay the swoosh over the handle and heat the vinyl to form it around the handle, i tried this once before on a handle that protruded out a lot and it caused excess vinyl on the body, hard to explain really.

Give me a piece of window tint and i can do a one piece rear window in minutes but this dry fitting sounds scary…
What vinyl should i use for fitting dry, i using aslan and as soon as it touches the car it doesnt want to let go…

Any help will be most appreciated
    cheers

    Hi
    Thanks for the replys.
The holder is clean and it has a new blade, i did have it so the blade was out about a 1 mm and the pressure was at 45-50g, but now i have sunk blade so its probably 1/4mm and pressures upto 85g and it seems better. Is the latter the proper way to set it up anyway????
    Its a Japanese Foison C24 610mm…
To be honest its been a cracking machine…..

It doesnt vibrate/perforate vinyl on curves or heading away from base only heading back in a straight line… well saying that its not doing it now i have adjusted it….

    Hi mate.
Ive been a designer for 5 years but I’m new to the sign industry, and in my opinion the orange car stands out a mile from the rest.
its a nice clean design…. I stay away from weird outrageous fonts as i think they make advertising look cheap… IMO.

    Hope this helps.

PS… Stick with the logo on the card Ive chosen…
