MemberOctober 11, 2010 at 12:21 am in reply to: What bank / service do you use to accept C.C. payment?Hi Guys,
I’ve been looking up all the companies you mentioned as I had not heard of some of them before. I’ve decided to start out with paypal virtual terminal…. I didnt even know paypal had this service even though I already have an account with them. (Thanks Mo for the info!) I like that its relatively cheap, easy to set up, I dont need to rent any equipment and there is no contract. Thanks to everyone for your help.

MemberMarch 20, 2009 at 12:12 am in reply to: Credit Accounts OR Cash on Collection / Delivery?????Thanks everyone for your help. I’m going to look into getting a debt collector to sort out my longest overdue accounts and am changing to a 50/50 system from monday. it’ll be interesting to see if business slows down any as a result (hopefully not!). I’m confident now that this is the right decision, at least i’ll be sure that i’m getting paid for all the work i do. Thanks again… John.

MemberMarch 19, 2009 at 8:27 pm in reply to: Credit Accounts OR Cash on Collection / Delivery?????thanks dan, thats the kind of thing i’m hoping to hear. i’m sure it’d be a lot easier to run my business without chasing credit customers. do you find it has freed up more time for you? also is it a good idea to only provide artwork / proofs after a deposit has been paid?

MemberOctober 15, 2008 at 10:36 pm in reply to: LED or other backlit options for existing raised lettersI should add – the letters are made from 19mm foamex and have no channels routed into the backs as he was not interested in LEDs at the time of manufacture. Each letter is approx 10" high and as I said its a pretty thin stem on the font used (15-20mm).
