Some lovely work there, my favorites are the carvings by Joe as they just amaze me. May be a daft idea but wouldn’t it be good if we could have an online awards that are voted for by members, similar to this gallery but able to vote for the one we think best.

the quick answer is yes steve… its actually something that will happen this year. cant elaborate too much on it just now but UKSB will be sponsoring some catagories at this years Sign Industry Awards. I plan on trying to use the site to encourage more entries from our end of the trade. i.e. the smaller sign firms… more on that too follow.

Seems a great idea Rob which you say you’ll be doing

Its actually good to see stuff like this because after a while we can easily fall in to the ‘easy way’ of pushing things out and sacrifice the skill and talented side of our work

    Wow!!!

What a surprise 😮 Look at all that great work. Of course I’m partial to the dimensional pieces but I love it all and feel honored to be included among such talented professionals.
When I think about this industry and the technology that drives it, it’s hard not to admire those folks who use it, not as a crutch, but as a pallet.

Personally, IMHO, I would not like to see this become a contest.

    Congrats EVERYONE!!!!!

WOW! How does one get clients to spend to that extent? I love the glass work and wonder to myself if I should be approaching Glazing Companies and not wait for the end users to come into us. Any suggestions lads?
