    Hi Brads,

You need to use the export feature instead of the save feature.

    Hi Sharon,

The fuses are on the main board which is on the back right hand side of the printer,

They are solder on fuses located on the bottom right of the main board.

Well if it was me i would just use a standard grommeted banner and use plastic tie wraps to attach it onto the fence across the top crossrail and then just along the bottom catching the up and down rails.

Then when you take it down you just need to cut the tie wraps roll it up and away you go 😀

    Hope that makes sense

Yeah i be looking to get it installed on the server then tweak it. if you don’t do it on the server when you go to upload it all the links will be pointing to the wrong place giving you an even bigger headache.

I must admit i’m all for getting a free template that’s the way i did it then you install the plugins that you need tweak it as you feel necessary. i’m using the e commerce plug in and finding it fairly easy to use.

    my template is called mazine

Yeah there is a fair bit of work getting it set up but once it’s up it easy to maintain.

Most hosts give you the option to use wordpress in there control panel

and there are load of free templates that you can use and fill with your own content.

I wasnt being harsh at the end of the day it’s what the customer wants and i’m sure they are delighted with it, everyone has there own opinion and ideas you can give guidance and it’s upto the individual to decide.

Well i’ve just changed the carriage board and got the same result printing yellow and magenta although there seems to be a little trace of magenta in the yellow!!

Swap the cables and black and cyan print, again there seems to be a trace of black in the cyan.

Looks like i need to spend some cash on a main board 🙁

Anyone got an old SP300 lying around that i could purchase the main board out of 😀

    Hi Derek,

I would look at getting a webite made in wordpress it restricts you to a certain degree but allows you to change text photos etc without to much fuss.

I got mine done but i use it as a shop and can input product etc they basically work on a dashboard and you can get plug in’s a bit like apps for you phone.

OK so the ribbon cables are ok as the non working ones work on the other head and vice versa i also swapped the ribbon cables from the main board to the carriage board and they both seem to be working.

So does that mean it’s either the carriage board or the main board 😮 is there any way of checking the boards?

I’m just checking them with a multimeter but with the power off with the meter set to audio when contacted acroos the fuse.

Sorry i’m new to this 🙂

    Cheers for the reply Jamie,

The black and cyan works if i plug the yellow and magneta cables into that head but the yellow and magenta dont so i’m assuming it’s not getting the signal from the main board. Can i swap over the main cables from the mainboard too see if that turns the problem round?

I sure it’s not the fuse as if i put the meter across it i get a signal.

The only fear i have of using someone else like parce2togo etc is that all my small items envelopes or tubes will be lost in amongst all the big boxes etc.

Anyone tried tnt mail or uk mail?

    Denise,

I was struggling with this the other day,

If it’s first class there are now classing packets small and medium

    The small (45cm x 35cm x 8cm) packet is £3.00 and medium (61cm x 46cm x 46cm) is £5.65

Oh and you can class a tube as a small parcel if it’s under 45cm x 8 cm

I Reckon they are trying to rip off the small businesses that send parcels first class i’m not quite sure if i’m going to use royal mail or look elsewhere and see if there are any better options.

Hmmm a bit more about me!!!

Well i am 31 live in Aberdeen

I Currently work for a big fire protection company (not going to say the name but they used to make locks and safes (?)
I am working as there workshop supervisor/Manager and have been there 7 years the last five as workshop supervisor/Manager.

I just feel it is time for a change. I don’t like the way the company is going, as it is now owned and run by americans.

Like the idea of starting a sign from scratch and ending up with a finished product that is different each time. I have dabbled in using vinyl in the past and have made some vinyl graphics for cars and things and more recently printed leaflets for one of my friends, but i want to expand on that a bit and get into the stuff that you can make some money at!!!

Anyway think i have prattled on enough now

    Hi Guys

I am completely new at this and was wanting to have a play around when i seen all the great designs that were coming on here.

Anyway i have had a play and come up with a really simple design which i think looks quite good!!

I know it’s not like some of the more complicated designs but sometimes less is more
