Avery wrap it up at the SGIA Show 2008

Avery Graphics Wrap Demo:
Paul Roba and Molly Waters demonstrated vehicle wrap techniques with MPI 1005 EZ RS in the Avery Graphics booth on an electric MINI Cooper at SGIA.

The electric MINI Cooper will arrive at SGIA from Los Angeles where it was part of the festivities for this year’s EMMY Awards. The Hybrid Technologies’ LiVTM FLASH, an electric version of the MINI Cooper, was the center of attention at the recent pre-EMMY Gifting Suite in Hollywood.

Espon Ferrari Wrapped in Avery Graphics vinyl:
SkinzWraps designed and installed the wrap on a Ferrari F430 in the Epson booth. The graphics were printed on Avery Graphics MPI 1005 EZ RS with an Epson Stylus® Pro GS6000 solvent printer.

SkinzWraps™ was hired to design and install the wrap for Hybrid Technologies. The wrap was printed on MPI 1005 EZ RS and laminated with DOL 1000. The all lithium model LiV FLASH was launched last summer by Hybrid Technologies.

Easy Apply RS™ Technology makes wraps easier to install. Installers can drape the vinyl over the vehicle and position it. If it’s not exactly where the installer wants it, they can slide it to where they want it to be and reposition. Air bubbles and wrinkles aren’t a problem because of the Easy Apply RS air egress channels.

1)The new DOL 3000 series of overlaminates – DOL 3000 Luster, DOL 3100 Gloss and DOL 3200 Matte. These three new overlaminates are 3.2 mil clear, calendered vinyl films that are durable for up to two years and provide three gloss levels and protection for POP, trade show and promotional advertising.

2)The three new Digital products (MPI 2150 Translucent Film, MPI 2601 Wall Film and MPI 3900/3910 Promotional Films) –

MPI 2150 is a 3.2 mil digitally printable translucent film that provides consistent light transmission when applied over a light source, perfect for self-adhesive, illuminated signage. It is ideal for airport advertising, restaurant advertising and menu boards, subway advertising, bus shelters and trade show applications.

MPI 2601 Wall Film is a calendared film with removable adhesive, specifically made for digitally-printed wall graphic applications. Recommended for most walls, the product features an adhesive technology that delivers excellent adhesion throughout the graphic, even when printed to the edge.

MPI 3900/3910 Promotional Films are 3.4 mil calendared films with permanent adhesive made specifically for digitally-printed short- to medium-term promotional graphic applications. MPI 3900 Matte and MPI 3910 Gloss look great and deliver excellent print ability with most solvent, eco-solvent and UV-curable inks. MPI 3900/3910 are ideal for POP, trade shows, outdoor signage, floor graphics, wall murals and advertising.

3)SX ReadyCal 1001 Promotional Film is a tough, scuff-resistant, flexible, white calendared vinyl film specifically engineered for screen printing. It is ideal for novelty and promotional decals, product identification labels, nameplates, POP, bumper stickers, floor and window graphics as well as short-term OEM decals and poster needs
