Many thanks Fred. Sorry if I dropped you in it.
Seems i’ve opened a can of worms here.
I’m sure i have seen many other requests for outlines on this forum, but
I apologise if i’ve broken any rules, (written or un-written). 🙁 -
Sorry George, have never pm’d anyone before. How do i go about it please.

Same thing again Jamie, same as when you gave me the NatWest fonts.
The light version of Radient will be fine, i don’t want to put you to any more trouble.
Much appreciation for all your efforts.

Hi Jamie. I’ve just downloaded the medium version you posted, and when i open it, it comes up as Radient Light again. Very Wierd stuff 🙁
-
Jamie, if you see this message, i wonder if you can give me some advice.
When i download the two fonts you kindly posted, they both come out as Radient Light, not Radient Light and Medium. I don’t know if i’m doing anything wrong, it seems really strange. Any ideas?

Cheers Jamie, much appreciated. There appeared to be three TTF versions in the file, – all Natwest Bold. Is that how it should be, or should there be a regular and light version.
The bold one will be well handy for what i need to do, so many many thanks.

Thanks for looking, and if i don’t have any luck, i may use the one you provided, and see if i can get away with it.
Nick

Hi Marcella, it’s very very close. The one i’m looking for is called Caflisch Script Pro Regular. As usual the client wants it to be exact.
Many many thanks for you swift response though.

Many thanks all of you for your efforts – you’ve come up trumps yet again.
Sorry about the lousy image you had to go by as well

Hi Chris, can i ask you what you have attached to your reply. It has an RAR file extension, and i can’t open it.
If it is the text HLR, please can you attach it again as an AI, or EPS file.
Also thanks George for your suggestion.
Many thanks

Thanks Andy, the pattern will be applied to the sides and back panels of 8 Vauxhall Zafiras.
I think seeing as how many there are to do, applying individual white and red squares would take for ever, hence the thought of putting solid white panels down first.
I believe you can get thin translucent overlay films in different colours to apply over the white to achieve the red squares. these would be easier to cut than red reflective.Nick

Cheers George, you’ve saved the day again.
Hopefully i can re-pay you one day.
Nick

Top Man George – you don’t muck about mate.
Many thanks

It sounds like a Eurasign Panel, which are available from Spandex – 0800 772633.
I know the panels are 700 x 500. Not sure about the gap between the holes though. I think it’s only about 220mm on them. But you can get spare panels.
Might be worth a try.

Thanks for all the suggestions.
Will be trying them out.

MemberMarch 9, 2006 at 4:26 pm in reply to: how do i remove the background from a photo please? In Signlab 7, double click the image. When the vectorization menu opens,
select the eyedropper tool, hold down Ctrl, and click on the white colour in the Target Colour window, (above palette).
This should give you a transparent background to your image.Depending on the detail of the image, it might need some touching up in Photoshop or similar program.
Hope this helps.

MemberFebruary 15, 2006 at 9:25 am in reply to: can anyone help with using the halftone palette please?Hi Peter, I’m not really looking to cut the images, as i know it would be a nightmare.
I’m thinking i could print them onto clear film and make stencils out of them for our screen printing dept. Now i know that you can transform almost any image into a dot pattern, it opens up a whole new ball game.I had a play around using David’s instructions and got some pretty good results.
I don’t get to use photo shop much as we work mainly with vectors. so it was very interesting.
Many thanks for all your input.

MemberFebruary 14, 2006 at 12:31 pm in reply to: can anyone help with using the halftone palette please? Thanks for your comments guys.
I would like to achieve results similar to the example shown by David.
If the dot pattern he created was achieved from a normal image, i would like to be able to do that.
A few tips on how to achieve this would be great, then i can experiment.
I only have photo shop 4 though, don’t know if this is a problem.
Thanks for your time
