Smith Launch New Chevron Kit brochure
Smith, part of William Smith Group 1832, has launched a new brochure dedicated to Chevron Kits. The trade-only, sign fabrication company manufactures an expansive range of products for the sign and graphics industry, including templated Chevron Kits.
Recognised as an industry leader in this sector, kits are available with same-day despatch when ordered before midday and are supplied ‘ready to apply’ straight out of the box, ensuring installers of a hassle-free experience throughout the fitting process.
Chapter 8 compliant thanks to the use of 3M micro-prismatic material, all kits are manufactured to Class R3B as specified in the Department for Transport’s Traffic Signs Manual.
Having first partnered with 3M in the 1960s to manufacture CE Marked Traffic Signage, the Barnard Castle based business has continued to use 3M films ever since due to the advanced technology incorporated into its reflective sheeting and the reliability for which they are renowned.
Smith’s newly released brochure gives readers a detailed insight into Chapter 8 legislation and its importance, it also provides a visual overview of the most popular chevron templates available, featuring those from leading manufacturers for commercial vehicles such as Ford, VW, Mercedes, Peugeot, and Toyota.
Speaking on the launch of the brochure, Head of Marketing, Chris Bradley commented:
“This is the first time we have launched a dedicated brochure for Chevron Kits. We hope it gives the trade an insight into our capabilities and the types of templates we can supply.
As a business, we are committed to providing the best service and products possible and I feel this is certainly the case with our chevron kits being manufactured from 3M material which meets the standards set out by the Department for Transport.”
