Peter i thought i it would be round the mark and thats not even new?
Lee i have considered this but just wanted to find out how much it was going to cost me if i decided to go down this route. Maybe am i bit naive but i thought there mite be a market for small printers and then build up to larger printers.

After reading your comment i did a bit of research and the Gerber Edge 2 / fx range sound what am after. What kind of price should i be looking at new/used?
Plus am using signlab 8 basic will i have to up grade to print & cut? Because that’s not cheap!!
And can i get some opinions off from you signwriters about this machine eg problems/ink cost and vinyl etc
Thank you

The Thing is it does not have to be to fancy. Just the company name / logo and phone number and it would be no bigger than 200mm by 100mm
i just dont wish to buy a larger printer so soon after starting up and the choice of different way of printing is scary 😕 -

Hello
I Have a customer that want a sun strip applied to his car but as the wiper blade’s are very high on the window he wants me to apply it on the inside! That’s is going to be fun 😕 as the rear view mirror is going to be in my way I will try to remove it. Am thinking i will put it on flat and cut round the edges
Has Any one done one on the inside before??
Thanks Martin

MemberJuly 6, 2008 at 12:24 am in reply to: i am after some Vinyl Application fluid advice? Thanks Rob
As i have just started up the first few vinyls i applied i put on wet. The only reason was i was sacred i mite make a mess of it. But i found the vinyl hard to squeegee on because it moved all over the place so the next few jobs i spent longer on the liniment of them and applied dry and am much happier. Dry all the way now 😉
The only reason i thought i would use rapid tac was for better adhesion on glass
Do you use it at all ?

Away to put vinyl on to glass for the first time and was thinking of getting some rapid tac 2. How did you get on with it? And did you get from allprint as mentioned by the others in this group
