Martin, you may have drawn a box by mistake? its easy done when using the text tool,
the text will then just stay within the confines of the box.or look at the line spacing box, it could be set at a low value

Or maybe you have changed your line spacing to zero?

    Hello Guys

Yeah my line spacing was @ zero, Thank you

Is there a standard size of spacing like half the size of your text or just what looks good?

150 is a good starting point, but depends on the text style and length of decenders, I just adjust as necessary, to make it look right. You can also use the kerning tool to adjust line spacing, but takes a bit of explaining, cadlink have a tutorial on their site that is worth a look.
