Thanks to evryone for their help on this i am doing the van tommorow i orderd the vinyl from WS and went for 3m 1080 series bright yellew 1080-g15 just as jon marshal said, i went for this as Hexis do not have any stock of the uk one, just as a reference if anyone doe one in the future the Hexis code is FOR THE UK VERSION HX20JMIB the other european version is more orangey code is HX20JGEB. I am praying that the one i orderd is right, i still would like to talk to John Dorling about the material he has i cant seem to PM anyone so if you see this John please could you give me a call or pm me or email me 07836 712 907 or markstripes@btconnect.com.

Thanks neil & martain i will re- draw just being lazy & trying my luck i use sign lab every time i try & vectorize images like this i seem to have trouble i know i must be doing something wrong.I would ussally poisterise to about 4 colours then trace long lines to curves then clean up,is this right?

does anyone have any tips for this in sign lab i have coloured it black & white in photo shop but cant get a clean scan should i use long lines to curves i have tried detail logo it is a mess & what tolerance would you use
any help please i am strugling big time

question would you soak bonnet peel off covering paper then soak graphic then slide graphic to position holes to jets & badge then where would you start from? bottom to top or from jets down or the middle.
The picture is exactly how it looks sounds like you have done loads

Thanks for your comments i wondered why you say not to do it wet, ihave attempted doing most graphics dry & prefer to but on big things like this surley when re udjusting to iron out bubbles or creases you have more chance when it is wet i find that once it is down when dry you can not lift it back up it always stretches what do all you lot do wet or dry?

HI i think the same futura but cant you crop it scan & trace it shouldn’t need that much work to clean up,that is what i have done in the past to get out of trouble.

I agree Word of mouth & referals beats all i get 60% from Yellow pages,
but you have to put up with the waste of time calls & people just phoneing
for the cheapest quote rather than quality of work,business pages i did this year and it was a complete waste of money.I also did thompson before that but that was a joke too.
