Hi Mark, you really should try and draw this up yourself.
It’s a very basic design and should take no more than 10mins to vectorize.

    Good practice too. 😀

What software do you use Mark?? Don’t have the logo so can’t help with that but as Neil has said that should only take a few minutes to redraw depending on what software you use.

There are some good tutorials about and this would be a very easy one to practice on.

Thanks neil & martain i will re- draw just being lazy & trying my luck i use sign lab every time i try & vectorize images like this i seem to have trouble i know i must be doing something wrong.I would ussally poisterise to about 4 colours then trace long lines to curves then clean up,is this right?
    Thanks

    I use Flexisign.
Do you have a Bezier Path Tool in Signlab?
If you do use that to draw your lines then select your points and edit to suit the drawing.
I’d be surprised if Signlab hasn’t got Path Tools.

OK, I don’t use signlab either and never have so not quite sure of what tools will be called

To vectorise it you will probably have a couple of different options, Bezier, colour, centre and maybe enhanced curves. If its a complicated logo or has lots of colours then yes reduce the number of colours first in your case by posterising. In this case you would only need 2 colours. Once it’s been vectorised then you can edit it and reduce/move nodes about. Not sure how good signlab is at this, you could also try vector magic which is software just to do this sort of thing and far better at it than most design programs.

This is a really simple logo so you might also want to consider redrawing it yourself. You should have tools to allow you to do this, work in wire frame mode so you can see the image your trying to copy all the time and just place the points where you need them.
