Hi, I have the T1400 and this has the Tangential Knife also, i use this to contour cut my files printed on my solvent printer.
Not the newest machine but was the best available at one point and mine is still going with no issues and cuts anything i throw at it.

I have the Summasign Pro T1400, have had this for years and never goes wrong. I can contour cut with using the OPOS.
All i use is CorelDraw and Winplot that is free from summa’s website. When winplot is installed there will be a new dock with the summa cutter tools on the corel screen, just select the items to be cut and click the relevant button and it will open winplot and just click send.
Its as easy as that.
I believe the cables are a null modem cable, a standard serial cable wont work.
Thanks Mark.

quote Stafford Cox:Opal Tiara…. I remember them. Isn’t that a Mutoh 6100?
I’m not sure if I’ll get shot for mentioning this but I’ve got a couple of DX2 heads that I bought at the beginning of the year as they are like rocking horse poo these days. Digiprint list them as being available but you could be looking at a long wait if they can even get them at all (that’s why I bought 4 when I had the chance).
Let me know if I can help.
Stafford
Hi, If you would like to get rid of 2 of those i would be most grateful, let me know, if so what would you like for them?
Are they both colour?
I only ask as I have 6 colours, I have seen them with 4 and a Black Head and 1 colour head, Mine has 2 colour heads.
Thank You,
Mark.

Well thank you for all replies so far, you have been so helpful.
I am keeping my eyes open for something a bit more suitable.
From what I have read i assume eco-solvent ink printers seem to be the best for outdoor digital vehicle prints.
Thanks, Mark.

quote Martin:Hi Mark, welcome to the forum, does your plotter have an optical registration system because that is something you will need for print and cut jobs if you buy something like a rockhopper which is a print only machine.
it does not no, its a cheapy 1.3m redsail, but has done me well so far.
I know a man selling a Roland ColorCAMM 60… He says its print & cut and prints 1.3m.
Do you know of these???any good for outdorrs work??
I did see a printer on ebay 60" new sino 750, but only takes coated media, how does this work??
Thanks, Mark.

quote Steven Taylor:Hi Mark,
I tried to investigate the coreldraw route years ago but had no such luck. I have coreldraw 12 and cant seem to find anyway of using it with the plotter so if you know of any extra info on this it would be very much appreciated.Cheers
I am using Corel DRAW 12 too….
My cutter is attached via serial port and is installed as a printer, so i just print to it as a printer, sending just outlines / hairlines..
I could not do it with the USB, only works with serial connection.
Hope this helps.
Mark.

not sure if this issue has been resolved, it has been a while, I have one of the JINKA GOLDCUT JK871 and in the manual it says:
Language: DMPL / HPGL
Compatible software: FLEXIsign, CorelDRAW, Mastercutter etc.
Cheers, Mark.
