I know cutting ordinary reflective ruins your blade so I imagine diamond grade the blade won’t even touch it unless you put the pressure up and maybe wind the blade tip down a bit may work don’t know but if it’s just squares or stripes can you not cut them by hand ?

haven’t figured out why your are not running true I think it must be a prob with your grip(pinch) rolls or sorry to say it’s you are you not lining it up properly,
why did you want to cut 4mtrs. in one go ? can you weed and mask 4 mtrs in one go ?

technnique trail and error, mag on table(work bench) enough vinyl and a bit extra no app tape stick one end with masking tape peel backing paper half way (it takes two peeps to do this) cut it off one person goes to far end other person stays at first end and squigees Peter usually uses a semi circle sweep I keep it from touching until he want’s it to and in the mean time I remove the rest of the backing(carring paper)
If however I have to do it on my own that is completly differant if you want me to explain I will but I have proberbly put every one to sleep

Hi Guys
I think if you do it dry you will get rid of you problems
we do a regular flood coated yellow on to magnetic 2 1/2mtrs. x 610 dry then we put black text on top of that, if that doesn’t work I expect you just need to practice, if you have applied wet when you take your app tape off you will have bubbles because vinyl hasn’t adhered to mags unless you have either soaked your app tape or left it until completely dry
usally over an hour (who has all this time too spare)

Hi Dave if it’s a newish transporter you may be ok the older ones have very deep recesses my choice of images is impact (sorry if thats not allowed) I have looked at others but always stay with them
I think you may have got a clue now about what most sign makers/writers think about red and blue together

just a thought you said your logo is going on a van eventually think carefully about the van because if you are going to wrap that design you need some nice flat panels because I think that design will disort going round curves

am I also not keen on red on blue (just a personal thing) I like the blue better now you have lightened it and also your hint of shadows

We use spandex never had a problem, well we did once they sent the wrong vinyl and as usually happens it was one we needed desperatly
they couriered the right one from Bristol to luton and as I recall it was only a few metres needed to do a job that day, job got done, two happy customers us and my customer
