  • How would you people solve this logo problem.

I want to signwrite my two company vans, one is an Astra and the other is a long wheelbase Transit.
The problem is with the Transit due to my lazyness I only drive automatics, the only Transit automatic I could find at the time of purchase was an ex Harrods one this is of course Harrods green instead of normal white, if you look at my company logo it sits fine on a white van as the text etc should be white, unfortunatly the green of the logo is very close to harrods green so will look stupid as there will not be much contrast.
Do I mount on white vinyl and if yes what size would look best as border or can someone think of a better solution.

    Many thanks

    Russell.

I would make a white border the same thickness as the white dividing line on the shamrock.

Jill I thought of that too or change green to white on the green van I know this changes the logo some what but makes life simple you would have to halve the middle line but I think this may be interesting if it was a post you could play with I would

break the stark green colour of the van with a white band running from the roof to the wheel sills. same width as the rear panel of your transit.
then place the logo on the white were the recesses panel is…. then on the other section of the van, in white text, list details and numbers etc….
this will take the harrids look away from the van and appear almost meant. 😀

Hey these are all good suggestions.

Jills is probably they way I would do it, as it will not look out of place beside the astra, in a corporate sense.

    just my view tho

Just a small point from me

the t in “Simtrax” gets lost in the white dividing line

Maybe a pin outline around the whole word would help

    Cheers

Black outline is too thick for my liking. it overtakes the logo. needs to be much thinner.

Thanks for all your help, I am probably going to try Roberts suggestion of a white band under the logo.
    Thanks again to everybody.

    Best regards

I would just use the white key line, should look good against the dark green van???
