…and while we’re on the subject, this is a 1950s LMS Dining Car which I lettered last year…slightly different proportions…

The gold lines were taped with 3/4" masking tape, which left just about the right space to pencil in the black with a No. 8.
BTW. I just worked out that there is 912′ of lining on these things.
