Hi from Belfast.
Please allow me to introduce myself…I’ve been signwriting for 29 years, since starting my apprenticeship way back in ’82. After 22 years of working in what can only be described as "Dickensian" conditions, I eventually fell from scaffolding which resulted in two broken arms. My right one was totally mangled and, being right handed, I thought I would never hold a brush again. So, enough of the sob story…it turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me, as I have now started my own business specializing in traditional signwriting and airbrushing (I still do the odd vinyl job or vehicle wrap if I’m asked to) and business is booming.
My arms still give me gyp, but it sure beats working for a living.
