Good points Rich, it would be nice to master the ‘all dry rob’ aproch, if just for speed 😀 I know im bound to come across some things that would involve wet, but i would like to be mostly dry 😎

Yea way to much outline but i was just playing, eager to cut to see how it all worked 🙄
yea simple 2 layer all dry..no air bubbles! 😀 . lined it up using the Rob demo with the line registration marks underneath.

when using coral the fonts ‘look real’ when superimposed ontop of a pic of a van, so when i print it out to show someone it looks real whereas the fonts ive seen in the demo software i have, look ‘cartoon-ish’ and look terrible.
kind of gives it a naf look on printing…probably a sad winge but seems to make a diferance to me

I got mine (arived this morning) thru this here website on the shop page.its the MRKII version and came with the free stand. came in 2 boxes (plotter, stand) and in the box was all the bits n peaces like manual, blade exc.
Havent set it up yet so cant tell u what its like but it gets good reviews here 😀
oh yea, is down to £995 + vat dispite it saying its more at the UKSB shop page! 🙄

so how about 3 layers?
first dry, then how long would you leave the 2nd layer befor doing the third?
do u leave each layer to dry slightly befor removing the app tape?
tell me how u do it from step one 😮

anyways, i have Illustrator and i also have coral (both used for my music artwork)
i think Illustrator may be the way to go as the cutter comes with the plug in.
ill guess ill see how i get on when it gets deleverd on monday. sooo many options 😮 😮 😮

quick brain pick if you dont mind: how does one get the ‘auto salvage’ over the main’Gadbury’ letters? is it vinyl layerd ontop of vinyl? isthat how its done?

Its mostly for letters with outlines…nothing to flash 😀

Am a jobbing musician, and a ceramic tiler by trade, music isdrying up these days what with kids downloading all the time, not alot of money left in it now for session players 🙁
worked for a sign guy when i left school (making coffie mostly! lol) and getting fed up with tiling..so realy just nosing around for a bit of a change
