    Hi Jon

We use Signblazer pro 5 – we bought it when we first purchased our cutter. We are fairly new at the sign game so needed something fairly easy to use and this was it. It does have it’s limitations, but for normal vinyl signs it will do everything needed of it.

    Thanks,
    Darren

We started by using normal tape, but have also now got some clear stuff. We have done a couple of signs and 2 vans with the clear stuff and we prefer this to the normal stuff at the moment.

Doesn’t matter which one we use though…still cannot get rid of the bloody bubbles.

We are new too… but have done around 7 banners… all 7ft x 3ft. We got the banners for about £14 from a local supplier and used MACTAC banner vinyl. Applying it dry we didn’t seem to have too many problems.

We have also just been doing a van using MACTAC 9800 vinyl (I think?) and our biggest problem there was bubbles… we just can’t seem to get rid of them and even though you seem to have none, when you remove the application tape they seem to appear.

    Hi

We too are very new to this, but we would weed before applying and also apply dry.

Saying that we have never tried wet application yet.

    Hope this helps

Only being new to this we have only had two jobs where we have used a board and our supplier has cut it to size for free, thankfully.

    Hi

We bought one of those a couple of weeks ago, probably from the same place you are looking at as the price is the same.

Used it, and think it is a good machine but having not used any other machine it is hard to compare. We certainly found the company we bought it from very helpful.

We just got this software with an Omega OM-80 cutter… being brand new to this business and a complete starter we have managed to get it to do what we want quiet easily.
