I used the Arlon Ultimate Premium Plus, textured brushed silver, a few weeks ago.
I found it fine to work with. no issues at all.

Arlon is 100 micron film. Great effect in different light, felt great once it was on too.

    Haha 😛

It was on a new Transit (Not the new shape) Like I said he gets it waxed/ polished and wondered if my cleaners or glue had reacted to this.

    It was M4 Matt black.

All ok though, the missed call I got was to ask if I was able to do Risk Assesment pads.. Better to be prepared though.. right 😉

Cheers Rob, I applied the smallest bit of t-cut to the areas yesterday and all seemed ok when it left.

Just thinking ahead in case there are any further issues.

I don’t think so Paul. I had a quote of £750!! Recently saw the edge and 380 plotter sell for just over £500. Looks like it’s going to go spares or repairs?

Cheers Ghais, was chuffed with the van when it was finished. The swoosh on the other side we put at a slightly different angle as it was to be a continuation of the water.

No never been to America. There are a few States I would like to visit though. Chicago, New Orleans seem to be my kind of places.

This was a bit of a debate for a while in work. The consensus was for flood coating always use Avery 900SC.

I personally found it too brittle and wasn’t very pliable. Like Robert mentioned, I felt it creases very easy and could dis-colour if you were aggressively heating or stretching.

Recently I used the Hexis and Oracle 800, to me I liked the feel of Oracle’s as I felt it could take more punishment when applying and you didn’t have the fear of ripping it if you had to "pat" it back off to chase out any creases or rogue bubbles.

If you have small or no recesses you might even get away with an avery 700..

    Hi, thanks for the welcomes.

I’m based in Stirling-shire area. I was bitten by the bug almost 12 years ago and 6 years ago I was drawn back to the trade.

Six months ago I took on a job and through word of mouth has been slowly but surely gaining momentum.
