The Roland was bought in April 2005. It has been kept in accumulate condition. It has been serviced every 3 months from purchase by Roland trained engineer and when delivered it will come with free service. It currently uses sun chemical inks and has profiles for mega ink, Roland inks and a conversion can be arranged to your current ink system. It has on-line dryer, take up unit and server PC with Wasatch’s, Roland versa works. We have spare inks, cartridges and media as well to complete the package.

We are looking for overs around £17k ex VAT. Please PM me with contact details and we will give you a call.

    Hi Ian,

Thanks for the design thing, as you well know, its much harder doing you own vehicle than someone elses.

I am still toying with the idea of having a generic image i.e. a face, eye, or something else to put on the van to show capabilities.

    Thanks for your help again,

    Dan

Could be cleaner though – hence the covers on the chrome wheels!

    Hi Shane,

No its a custom build which includes PA, Generators, 7 PS2 with LCD TV screens, 3 Plasma TV Screens, Kitchen area, 2 x PC’s with 3G Broadband and Satellite TV. Its even got a Pukka Pies heat unit in (Pukka Pies are sold in Fish & Chip shops and at sporting venues – the stable diet of the football fan).

They did spend alot on the bus, but when you think that it is on the road for 12 months and compare that to any other form of advertising it makes sense and is actually great value!

thanks for your comments. we put the new banner over the top of the old one. we left it streched out overnight and then let it return back into the mechanism. believe it or not it wasnt too thick at all for the roll but i wouldnt do it like that again as it is hard to apply well but it was good enough for its purpose

We are using cartridges but they are re-fillable ones! We have not filled up with ink yet since the new system was changed!

If i can add my bit – although Rob and Dave have really hit the nail on the head!

We have had a free listing under our old business name in yellow pages and business pages and received nothing. We have just had the rep come round again and we have decided to go with business pages quarter page ad as it covers much bigger area for us.

As for yellow pages we will wait until we can secure additional budgets for advertising. Word of mouth and specific trade press and magazines seems to work best for us as securing long term contracts and repeat business is really our main aim!

Hi Keith, We were advised by Roland that the conversion would enable us to produce high quality digital prints for any vehicle singage ranging from short term to 4 yr. To be fair they advised us of scratching and colour fade but when we weighed this up versus buying a laminator we decided that was the best option for us!

Hi Dave, would you recommend we consider the Roland inks cause we have had problems with drying of ink wells, cartridges – nothing major as we know that low output or sporadic output can effect things.
