Foamboard prices – competitive at the moment?
Posted by Pryam Carter on October 27, 2005 at 6:29 pmHas the market gone extremely competitive at the moment or is it just me (?)
I was offered foamex (uncovered) today for £9.48 per 40 boards at a time. I good deal l thought.
The fact that the sheets are uncovered doesn’t bother me too much as l would use these for mounting full col prints on them.Pryam Carter replied 18 years, 6 months ago 6 Members · 9 Replies -

That’s a great price, I’m after the exact material myself. Could you post the company please. I also need a correx supplier. Has any body got any web addresses. Thanks in advance 😀

The boards were 8×4’s.
i’ll post the number tomrrow sometime when l’m in at work.
I’m pretty sure that Robert Horne do an un-covered board at a similar price and similar quantity, i’ll have to make a call on that one though. -
Just wondered if we have the confusion over the board name again, Foamex/Foamboard.
Foamboard (Forex Classic) I buy for more than twice that amount but does not come coated uncoated as far as I am aware.
Foam-x Does come coated/uncoated but costs less than that from my regular supplier. You can buy Foamex on Ebay for #10/sheet 5mm and only need to buy 10 sheets.
So which is it?
