This might help someone. I didn’t like the look of this large stripe stopping at the tail light, but then I didn’t want to slit the vinyl either, so I made this template first….
1. In this photo I taped up a piece of paper and then “eyeballed” the top and bottom lines and trimmed it out.
2. Here is the first cut to see how close it is and then I trimmed it as necessary to fit.
3. After trimming . . .
