ADAPT to expand team and add training at fantastic new premises.

ADAPT – Amari Digital Printing Technologies, a Vink UK company and leading supplier for the wide-format print market, will offer training and e-commerce services from its new premises.

Amari Digital Printing Technologies has moved into bigger, better premises, allowing it to expand its team, services and the amount of stock it can hold.

Founded in 2018 as the fusion between Amari Digital Supplies and Graphic Printing Technologies, ADAPT is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of roll media, hardware, ink, printheads, consumables, tools and accessories for the sign and display industry. By the beginning of this year it was clear that ADAPT had outgrown its Nottingham premises and in February found a new site. COVID-19 had an impact on the plans, but the entire move was finally completed over two weekends in October, ready for the ADAPT team to move in and start socially distanced working on October 19th.

“The new building is perfect for us in terms of size and ambition,” explains Dominic Bowen, General Manager, ADAPT. “We are growing our sales team and expanding the dedicated e-commerce team working on our new webshop, going live in November.”

“While our old premises had no training facilities, our new home has space designed specifically for training in vehicle wrapping, architectural and signage applications, which will be delivered by our media suppliers and in-house application specialists.”

Like many businesses ADAPT continues to feel the effects of the pandemic, but these new facilities are part of a long term growth plan for the business.

“We are investing for the long term and looking beyond the pandemic, to provide the best customer experience, service and product range in the industry,” says Dominic. “We have seen significant growth in vehicle graphics and the architectural market is also becoming a new driver for our growth. We had already planned to offer training in these areas so we’re looking forward to using our new dedicated COVID-secure training centre in the near future.”

ADAPT’s new climate controlled warehouse space can also accommodate more than 50% more roll media stock, in particular to meet the unprecedented demand for floor graphics film. However, there’s still space to fill, says Dominic.

“The new building does feel enormous!” he says. “There is a lot of empty desk space for our expanding e-commerce team, whilst other members of staff continue to work from home. But it’s fantastic, the move was seamless and the whole team are excited to get going in our new home.”
