Transform tired interiors and exteriors with the widest ever range of 3M™ DI-NOC™ Architectural Finishes from ADAPT. +VIDEO
ADAPT – Amari Digital Printing Technologies, part of the Vink group, has added over 300 3M™ DI-NOC™ Architectural Finishes to its product portfolio. With immediate effect, ADAPT customers will now have access to a huge array of natural finishes from the 3M™ DI-NOC™ Architectural Finishes range. These high-performance products allow users to access a whole host of opportunities in the highly profitable and growing architectural sector.
Developed to quickly transform spaces and objects while updating tired interiors, 3M™ DI-NOC™ Architectural Finishes are flexible, easy to install and can be safely applied with hardly any disruption, thanks to their low mess application.
Featuring 3M Comply™ Adhesive Technology and adhering to both smooth and rough surfaces, the films can be used to turn almost any surface into realistic wood, marble or textured finishes, making it almost impossible to distinguish the real material from the DI-NOC™ finish. They are suitable for the renovation and refurbishment of furniture, walls, counter tops, fixtures, fittings and more, enabling customers to transform spaces at an affordable cost.
ADAPT has offered 3M™ products for a few years, but the expansion of the 3M DI-NOC™ Finishes range represents a major investment for the leading wide-format print solutions supplier.
“Whilst we have always had DI-NOC™ available to us, we have never been a major stockist,” Dominic Bowen, General Manager of ADAPT, explains. “Instead, we offered it to customers in small amounts when they made specific requests.”
“However, with the addition of over 300 3M DI-NOC™ Architectural Finishes, we will be able to match almost all requests from our customers. This has been a major investment for ADAPT and we’re very excited to see how our Architectural range will develop.”
Lightweight and self-adhering, 3M DI-NOC™ Architectural Finishes can be applied in situ to existing substrates, reducing labour and material costs compared to natural materials. They have excellent resistance to water, dirt and wear and tear, with a 12 year lifespan indoors and 5 years outdoors.
The launch of the new finishes comes after ADAPT experienced a huge uptick in demand for its architectural solutions, driven by print service providers expanding outside of their more traditional markets and into the architectural sector. Work in some sectors has slowed significantly during the pandemic, but the architectural market continues to flourish.
“We recognise the architectural sector as a huge growth area for the industry,” Dominic Bowen continues. “The pandemic has allowed people to branch out into new areas and as Architecture continues to grow, we’re hoping our range grows with it.”
The addition of 3M™ DI-NOC™ Finishes also comes as ADAPT prepares to open its new, specialist training centre at its recently opened 15,000sq ft facility in Nottingham. The main building opened in October last year, with the dedicated training suite due to open at the end of May.
The training centre will offer specialist courses entirely focused on 3M™ DI-NOC™ Finishes, with the aim of offering customers an all-round service, in terms of both purchasing the material from ADAPT and benefitting from expert training delivered by the experienced and knowledgeable ADAPT team.
“If customers want to know how to work with the material and how to properly fit it, then we can offer training courses at our new facility,” Dominic Bowen concludes. “If everything goes to plan with Covid-19 measures being eased, we hope to begin delivering specialist 3M™ DI-NOC™ courses by the end of May.”
