ORAFOL has expanded its ORALITE® range with the introduction of ORALITE® 5090 Anti-Dew Film, a high-performance transparent PMMA overlay engineered to maintain retroreflective performance in dew-heavy and humid environments. Specifically designed to combat visibility issues caused by moisture accumulation, the 5090 Anti-Dew Film ensures reliable legibility of traffic signs even under challenging atmospheric conditions.

Reliable Anti-Dew Performance for Long-Term Road Sign Clarity

Functioning as a self-adhesive protective overlay, ORALITE® 5090 prevents dew droplets from forming directly on the surface of reflective signage. This ensures consistent optical clarity, enhancing road safety by maintaining the integrity of reflectivity during early mornings, fog, or sudden humidity shifts.

Tested under Central European conditions, the film delivers up to 10 years of functional anti-dew performance, matching the durability of the reflective sheeting it’s designed to protect.

Application Guidelines

For best performance:

• Apply only to clean, dry surfaces.
• Remove the water-soluble protective coating prior to exposure to sunlight or long-term storage.
• Observe proper environmental controls during application and curing.
• Avoid damp environments and maintain vertical orientation during lamination and storage.
