thanks for the replies, we have a 48" dispenser but it still requires hand rolling or a squeegee to apply the tape – i really wany a laminator type with electriv motor as masking a 48" wide 10M long graphic by hand (even in several bits) is a bit tirsome !
(ok, i admit it, i’m lazy)

we (wife & i) are primarily vinyl cutting at present mostly to trade
if there is too much going on for, but we will do anything – i have been doing corporate re-brands & bespoke LED, acrylic & ali type of stuff for over 18 years so i am keen to get back into that for ourselves !

currently re-branding 67 sites in 3 months !!!
so that was the push to go full time for ourselves !!

Hi people – thnx for the welcome – not normaly accused of being a man of few words (maybe a man in need of a spillchucker )so here goes:

Worked for Stewart Signs for v. nearly 20 years, been off the tools mostly for 5 yearts now & do that strange thing called project(mis?)managing – last project was a ship for the saga company, will post some pice soon, like doing bespoke engineering stuff – i’ll post designers visuals of my current little baby, workwise we do most things – see (mod-edit), mostly we sub-contract fitting (we have a shareholding in a dedicated fitting & maintenance company) but also use lots of other national subbies – i have a huge list of contacts as do we all i presume

So thats the help i can offer briefly ! 😀

joined up here to chat to like minded individuals etc – maybe pick up a few tricks ? – also have been known to get involved with anything going outside of work hours occasionally ahem ahem!

would love to have a sideline bespoke graphic service for raceteams etc

very very good if i say so myself with corel draw, flexisign & photoshop
i also am considered a bit of a wizz with the old signus system which i keep a copy active in the studio for digitising – i have always thought it the most accurate program ever – i still stand by that, though it is a little tempramental 😉

can anyone tell me how to get a pic of me ugly bonce on the left ?
i can post pics from photobucket but cant work that bit out

are most people on here self employed ?
